5 Treats for you to Enjoy this Holiday Season.

Let's admit it, for alot of us, once we hear "holiday season" or "Christmas" there are some things we can't help but start daydreaming about that may vary with culture and traditions we hold dear.

Here are some common holiday season favorites:

1. Lights & Decor

Don't you just love how Christmas lights and decor just brighten our life and usher in joy during the festive season? It is quite refreshing and a breath taking view to see everywhere well lit and welcoming - store displays and homes, merry and bright ❤

 2. Food

To all my foodies who were distraught that Thanksgiving came and ended all too fast and longed for more feasting- you're in luck because the Christmas feast is just around the corner!

From our Caribbean family- it's the gingery, rich sorrel drink 😍 and traditional handmade Jamaican black Christmas cake… the Glazed Ham with Pineapples and cloves 🤤… anybody else suddenly hungry and longing? 😆 Taking it down to the motherland and it’s on! Suya, Nkwobi, Abacha, Jollof rice,
Fried Plantain, Puff-Puff, Okro Stew and Banku, Palmwine, Chapman, Peppered Snail, Chin Chin, Grilled fish… ok! we need to stop here and can't wait to dive in! 😅

There's nothing like annual Christmas treats and meals dressed in our “bottom box” and favorite staples, drinking and eating to our heart’s delight. We're ALL HERE FOR IT 😆🥰

Share with us some of your absolute favorite treats 😋 and recipes this holiday season! 🤗

3. Family time. Quality Time.

Catching up during the holidays can be nice way to spend quality time with friends and family. It is also an opportunity to catch your breath after what might have been a hectic period 😔 Togetherness and holidays just go together ❤ Whatever the case, do something for you - make out time for you to relax and kick back.

4. Gifts

Let's admit it. No matter how old we get, EVERYONE gets excited about gifts 🎁 and surprises for the holiday. If you got nothing else for the entire year, large or small, someone better have your Christmas gift ready or you'll throw a fit! 😆

On a more serious note, it's all about the festivities and tradition of giving 🥰It is nice to receive but even better to give when the person on the receiving end least expects it and even better, a well-thought out gift - It is just heart-warming.

5. Entertainment- Hallmark, Nollywood, NaijaonNetflix and more

Be you a culuture enthusiast or just in the mood to kick back, relax and enjoy time with loved ones, carving out time for Nollywood movie marathons can be “just what the doctor ordered.

Nothing spells "most wonderful time of the year" like binge watching your favorite Korean dramas or catching up on your naijaonnetflix!
Be prepared to remain glued to the screen, guilt-free this holiday. Check out a number of our recommendations by clicking here

What would Christmas be like without Mariah Carey’s “All I want for Christmas is You” or Flavour of Africa’s latest festive Highlife hit on heavy rotation?

A private DJ would be a fantastic highlight of the small family get-together. Short of that, the right selection of music is an ABSOLUTE must to get everyone in the festive mood. Cue in musical chairs or a dance competition for all. Make it a memorable one.

Take out time to give yourself a special treat!
